The 10ticks team have been producing quality maths resources for over 10 years. The wealth of experience has allowed us to create a comprehensive bank of resources for parents, teachers and tutors to use in educating children.

Do you write for any other subjects besides maths?
Not at this moment in time. We currently focus all our energies on providing quality maths resources for ages 4-16. That’s Reception, right the way up to A* GCSE! Where other companies may provide maths, this is often restricted to either primary OR secondary school ages. We all come from maths backgrounds and build on over 100 years in cumulative maths teaching experience.

What if I don’t know which level my child is working at?
We understand that every child learns at their own pace. That’s why the Home Learning System contains a National Curriculum Leveller Test feature that will help you to establish the level your child is currently working at and the best resources to use with them. When a child logs into their Student Account they will be required to complete the test and the System will then put your child on a course it deems suitable based on the answers they have given.
Can the worksheets be filled in online?
No, our worksheets cannot be filled in online. To fill them in, you need to print them out or alternatively your child can view them onscreen and answer on paper, enabling him/her to show their workings out. Printing out is better for the kinaesthetic learner who likes to touch/feel things rather than onscreen for the audio/visual learner. This is called blended learning and is the most effective model for computer learning. You may want to let your child have a special exercise book for this purpose, and you can also encourage self-marking.
How often should my child be on the system?
We recommend 3-4 times a week for a minimum of 30 - 45 minutes. The worksheets are designed for consolidatory work (i.e. lots of questions). It may be appropriate that your child completes only every other question on a worksheet if it is being used to enhance a school curriculum.
What happens if there are any changes to the curriculum?
In the five countries in which 10ticks has overseen changes, all five have amended the curriculum within two years. The 2014 mathematics curriculum and the 2015 GCSE maths curriculum are both being fully implemented.

How do I renew my subscription?
You can do this from your 10ticks account User Area when you first log in. If you are subscribed to a 6, or 12 month subscription, you will also be sent a reminder when it is time to renew.

The Worksheet Annual Licence gives schools the resources to teach new maths strategies and cater for all learning styles, making it an invaluable asset to their classrooms.
The Annual Worksheet Licence provides thorough coverage of the Latest National Curriculum and also include materials that cover the new 2015 GCSE Syllabus and contains over 9000 worksheets. In line with the new Curriculum, the worksheets are grouped into years, from Year Reception - Year 11. There are two collections, one aimed at Primary Schools and one aimed at Secondary Schools.
How is the Worksheet Annual Licence Delivered?
The Annual Worksheet Licence is delivered digitally, making our maths worksheets more environmentally friendly. Our resources can be put on school networks, shown on whiteboards and even used as e-books.
Our worksheets our protected by a digital rights management software. This protects our resources from being copied illegally and means we can keep creating high quality resources for you to use in the future. Each device on which you want to access the worksheets will need to have our Licence Management Software installed on it and you get 16 device licences as standard, meaning you can install and access the resources on up to 16 different devices. How can it make me money?
Lots of the tutors who subscribe to our System actually make extra money back! That’s because they charge parents slightly extra per lesson for the added service of online support. It is usually only a small amount, around £2. This covers the cost of the System for you, and parents are happy because they are getting access to the System at a much lower cost than if they purchased directly from us.
